    Yes Janna – tenacious is the word. I once stupidly planted comfrey under my mini apple trees, when it started to take over I dug it all up only to discover that it had wrapped itself, cylindrically, around the roots of the trees – sort of the opposite of above!

      Gosh, that’s even more incredible! We do have lots of comfrey here too. It’s quite annoying as I really like it, but it’s just too aggressive and smothers everything in sight.
